Jennifer Cobb

Strategic Communications and Technology Leader

Jennifer Cobb is a communications and technology strategist known for her leadership in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. She most recently served as the executive director of United for News, a joint venture between Internews and the World Economic Forum, after holding the role of VP of Communications and Private Development at Internews. With extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, and communications, Cobb has contributed to a range of early stage and established organizations—from venture-backed technology companies including BEA, Sybase, IDG, Lotus Development, and Hewlett-Packard to nonprofits such as the Computerworld Honors Awards, which she founded, and the Rockwood Leadership Institute, which she co-founded. An accomplished author, she explored the intersection of technology and spirituality in her 1998 book, Cybergrace: The Search for God in the Digital World. Her academic background includes studies at Amherst College and the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a master’s degree from Union Theological Seminary.
